The work consisted of removing and resetting 635 headstones
straight, level and plumb in a concrete leveling pad on top of a continuous, reinforced concrete trench footing. This project presented a number of challenges as many of the headstones were broken below grade, most all had been previously set in a mixture of bricks, concrete, etc. which had to be removed and the grade sloped dramatically from the North to South as well as West to East.
